The shaft sleeve is a vital replaceable sacrificial component mounted on the sealing section of slurry pumps. It adopts a cylindrical overall structure and fits tightly over the pump main shaft, rotating synchronously with the shaft during equipment operation. Its core function is to isolate the pump shaft body from direct impact, scouring and chemical corrosion caused by solid-laden abrasive slurry. We provide a complete material portfolio to cover diverse working conditions, including high-chrome wear-resistant alloy, quenched & tempered 3Cr13 stainless steel, SS304/SS316 acid-alkali resistant stainless steel, alumina ceramic coating and solid silicon carbide ceramic. Each material targets mild corrosion, medium abrasion, heavy ore scouring and strong chemical erosion respectively. All sleeves are manufactured via CNC precision turning, ultra-mirror outer circle grinding and flatness calibration for end faces. Strict inspections are implemented on concentricity, inner & outer diameter tolerances and surface smoothness. The finished dimensions are fully interchangeable with OEM spare parts of mainstream slurry pump models including Warman AH, HH, G and domestic ZJ series. Custom non-standard sizes can be produced per original part numbers to meet special assembly demands. After installation, it forms a reliable barrier to block slurry infiltration into the bearing housing, offering a smooth low-friction running surface for packing sets and mechanical seal rings. Widely deployed in mineral separation, filter press feeding, coal washing, power plant flue gas desulfurization and chemical tailings delivery with high solid concentration and round-the-clock heavy load, it effectively prevents irreversible abrasion failure of costly pump shafts and lengthens the overall pump maintenance cycle.
Product Advantages
.Tiered multi-material selection meets all industrial scenarios. High-chrome alloy stands intense sand and ore impact; ceramic sleeves reach Mohs hardness above 9 with service life 2–5 times that of ordinary steel sleeves. Stainless steel variants withstand acidic and alkaline slurry for chemical industries.
2.Ultra-fine mirror grinding minimizes surface roughness, cutting friction heat between sealing assemblies remarkably. It slows down abrasion of packing and seal rings, eliminates slurry dripping and leakage fundamentally and greatly improves long-term sealing reliability.
3.Sacrificial protection design reduces operational expenses drastically. Instead of replacing the expensive integral pump shaft, users only need to swap low-cost sleeves once worn. This slashes maintenance cost by 30%–50% and shortens production downtime for overhaul.
4.OEM-level precise dimensional tolerance enables plug-and-play assembly without secondary trimming or grinding. Perfectly suited for 24-hour continuous heavy-duty running of filter feed pumps under alternating high and low feeding pressure.
5.Integrated limit structure is optional to restrain axial displacement of the sleeve, avoiding one-sided uneven abrasion on sealing elements. Compatible with fine mineral concentrate, high-density tailings as well as all horizontal and vertical slurry pump types.
