The slurry pump frame volute liner seal is a core static sealing and protective component for the wet-end cavity of slurry pumps. It is installed on the joint surfaces between the pump sheath, front and rear liners, and pump casing, widely applicable to AH, ZJ, HH series horizontal slurry pumps. During operation, slurry pumps transport high-concentration, high-solid-content media such as mineral slurry, coal slurry, sand and tailings. High-speed flowing slurry easily penetrates the assembly gaps of internal components, causing slurry channeling, slag accumulation and hidden erosion wear on the back of sheath and inner wall of pump casing. Long-term gap erosion will lead to loose flow parts, cavity leakage, reduced hydraulic efficiency and increased unit vibration. Made of high-elastic polymer materials, the sheath sealing ring fully fills assembly gaps, step gaps and mounting tolerance gaps after compression, forming a complete and closed annular protective belt. It fundamentally blocks the penetration of slurry and hard particles into the interlayer of components. Different from shaft dynamic seals, this static seal operates without friction loss, stably isolating slurry erosion, preventing slag accumulation, scaling, corrosion and cavitation on the back of wet-end parts. It optimizes the internal flow field and stabilizes cavity pressure, avoiding hydraulic turbulence, flow attenuation and pressure fluctuation caused by internal slurry channeling. Manufactured from wear-resistant rubber, nitrile rubber and polyurethane materials by integral vulcanization, the product features excellent elasticity, resilience, tear resistance, scouring resistance and corrosion resistance. It can adapt to harsh working conditions including mining processing, metallurgy, thermal power ash removal, chemical tailings transportation and river dredging, serving as an essential sealing part to ensure cavity tightness, stabilize pump performance and extend overall service life of slurry pumps. 3. Product Advantages - Full Cavity Tight Sealing & Anti-erosion: Fully fills all assembly gaps between sheath, liner and pump casing, completely blocking slurry penetration channels. It eliminates hidden wear problems such as back channeling, gap slag accumulation and interlayer erosion, maintaining structural integrity of wet-end components. - Highly Wear-resistant Material for Harsh Conditions: Integrally vulcanized with industrial-grade rubber and polyurethane, featuring outstanding elasticity and tear resistance. It withstands continuous scouring of hard solid particles, mild acid and alkali corrosion, and alternating temperature changes, adapting to complex media such as high-concentration slurry and tailings. - Zero Friction Static Operation & Longer Service Life: As a static sealing part, it operates without rotating friction and mechanical wear. It avoids rapid aging and failure, maintains stable sealing performance for a long time, and has far longer service life than dynamic seals. - Optimized Flow Field & Improved Pump Efficiency: Effectively prevents cavity pressure leakage and turbulent flow caused by gap channeling, stabilizes internal hydraulic pressure, reduces energy loss from local backflow, and ensures stable rated flow and head to improve overall pumping efficiency. - Vibration & Noise Reduction with Structural Protection: Excellent elastic buffering performance absorbs mechanical vibration and medium impact stress during operation. It relieves rigid assembly stress, reduces cracking and loosening risks of pump body and liner parts, and lowers overall operating noise and vibration. - Wide Compatibility & Easy Maintenance: Standard annular structure perfectly matches mainstream AH, ZJ and HH series slurry pumps. It is easy to install and replace without disassembling the main pump body, greatly shortening maintenance downtime and reducing operation and maintenance costs. - Anti-scaling & Long-term Stable Operation: The compact and smooth material surface resists scaling, slag accumulation and aging. It effectively prevents sealing surface deformation and failure, reduces equipment failure frequency, and supports long-term continuous stable operation.
