The stuffing gland is a core sealing matching part specially designed for slurry pumps, consisting of two symmetrical half-circle split bodies that can be disassembled without detaching the pump shaft or removing impellers and other internal components. It is installed on the outer side of the stuffing box, and evenly presses packing fillers through bolt fastening to form a reliable sealing barrier between the pump shaft and stuffing box cavity. Our split glands are available in multiple material options including cast iron, ductile iron, high-chrome cast iron and stainless steel to adapt to different slurry abrasion and corrosion levels. All blanks are cast with precise molds and processed by CNC lathes and milling machines. Strict control is carried out on inner circle concentricity, mounting surface flatness and bolt hole position tolerance, ensuring perfect matching with Warman AH, HH, ZJ and other mainstream slurry pump models. Compared with integral glands, the split structure realizes quick disassembly and replacement of packing on site. It can effectively lock packing to prevent loose seal caused by shaft rotation vibration, block abrasive mineral slurry from penetrating into bearing assemblies, and reduce shaft sleeve wear. Widely applied in filter press feeding pumps, mineral processing pumps, coal washing pumps and desulfurization pumps under long-time continuous heavy-load operation. Custom processing based on customer drawing or original part number is supported for special pump types.
